It is not soft right from the bag, but will break in easily. It will be great for newborns and grippy and supportive enough for older babies. The wrap is machine washable and is easy in care and use. This is your grab and go wrap for all your outdoor activities. It is suitable for all ages and experience levels. Occasional nubs and slubs are natural to the hemp yarn.
