Once upon a time in a far-off Elven Kingdom the King asked his Queen: "What shall I do today, my dear Queen, to make your heart rejoice?" The Queen smiled lovingly at her King and said: "My heart rejoices every time I see you and our beautiful children, my dear King. But there is one thing I dream of. I heard that in a far, far away Kingdom the Spider Queen has a wrap woven by her most skillful spider weavers from cotton, seaweed, silk and merino with precious rose quartz sparkles. These sparkles, my dear King, come from a Taffy rose, which blossoms once in ten thousand years. The legendary seaweed has healing powers and the wrap is as soft as the royal moss on our bed. I will wear our beautiful children in this wrap, close to my heart, when we fly together across our kingdom"... The King was silent for a moment: "The far, far away Spider Kingdom lies across the rivers and oceans, mountains and canyons, lands of Goblins and Orcs. I will take my best warriors and my best swards to accompany me to the Kingdom of Spiders and get you that Taffy rose wrap with those precious sparkles, my dear Queen".

Laurus Green Gables
Wool, Weave: Plain, GSM: 300 - 320 g/m², Pattern: Laurus, warp: 42% ecru Egyptian cotton weft: 34% pine green merino wool, 12% natural tussah silk, 12% natural hemp 300 gr/m2
The wrap has a medium weight. The natural bounce of the merino wool is compensated by the small percentage of the hemp yarn. The natural tussah silk yarn adds softness and subtle shimmer to the material. The wrap will adjust to your body and stay in place. A proper handwash and a moderate breaking-in period will make it a very cushy, gentle for your shoulders and a very supportive wrap. I can recommend the wrap for all ages and all experience levels, except for the very first time wrappers. The merino yarn will be non-itchy for most people.

Laurus Rosso
Wool, Weave: Plain, GSM: 320 - 340 g/m², Pattern: Laurus, warp: 37% ecru Egyptian cotton weft: 35 % blood red linen, 28% white wool gsm: 320 gr/m2
size 3 long - 180€, size 4 - 195€, size 6 - 245€, size 7 - 270€
Laurus Rosso is a heavy weight wrap, woven in the triweave technique with 2 different wefts: linen en wool.
The wrap is rather voluminous right from the bag, but the first wash will tame it significantly. The wrap
requires a moderate breaking in period after which you will be rewarded with a strong, grippy, supportive,
but cushy and gentle for your shoulders wrap. The wrap is not suitable for the newborn babies and I
would recommend it for the wrappers experienced in handling thick and heavy wraps. The wrap has occasional nubs and slubs which are natural to the linen yarn.

Alpacas have been bred in South America for thousands of years. Vicugnas were first domesticated and bred into alpacas by the ancient tribes of the Andean highlands of Peru, Argentina, Chile and Bolivia. Two thousand-year-old Paracas textiles are thought to include alpaca fiber. Also known as “The Fiber of the Gods”, Alpaca was used to make clothing for royalty (wikipepdia).
The best alaca yarn is known as royal baby alpaca wool. This yarn rivals cashmere for softness and silk for smooth feeling and subtle sheen. The royal baby alpaca wool is lighter than wool and is much warmer. It has kept the people of the Andean highlands warm for thousands of years. This yarn is also stronger than wool and is naturally water resistant. Items made from royal baby alpaca wool will last for years with minimum care. The royal baby alpaca yarn is made from the finest, carefully selected fibers. It is free from the coars fibers which give the prickly sensation and can be worn against bare skin.
