NB: wraps with linen or hemp might have a slight crease after the first wash which will become less once the wrap fully breaks in. It's neither a flaw nor a safety issue. It's a natural behavior for linen and hemp yarns and gives your wraps an authentic look.To avoid permanent crease, please, use a washing program with maximum of 800 rmp on your washing machine.

Summerly color combination and blend. The wrap is easy in care and use, requires a short breaking in period and is suitable for most ages and most experience levels.

A small scale of the Genesis pattern in an eye catchy, summerly color combination of saturated hawaii blue and ecru. The wrap is soft from the bag and will break in easily. The linen yarn in this wrap is not like any other linen you have felt. Due to a unique spinning and twisting technique, the yarn is soft from the start and requires little effort to break in. The wraps is suitable for newborns and for toddlers. It is is machine washable and easy in care and use.

The fusion of the evegreen cotton and malachite linen result in a vibrant, deep emerald color. Natural bourette adds contrast and style. The wrap is airy and light in hand. It requires a moderate breaking in period and is suitable for most ages and experience levels. After the wash the wrap will have an odor typical for untreated natural bourette silk. It's normal and will dissapear after several washing cycles and wearing. Dry the wrap outside for the best result, but not under the direct sun.

Genesis Ararat in a small scale and classy color combination. Peruvian Pima cotton is one of the best and softest cottons around. The wrap is quite soft right from the bag and will break in easily. The wrap has a medium weight and will be a perfect wrap for younger babies as well as for toddlers. It's airy, light in hand and gentle on your shoulders.

Cotton and hemp - easy blend in vibrant colors! The wrap is not soft from the bag and requires a moderate breaking in period. This is a strong, but surprisingly light in hand and airy wrap. It will be gentle on your body and shoudlers. It's great for toddlers, but once broken in, it will be suitable for younger babies as well.

NB. The wraps might fall a little short after wash, but will regain their usual length after some use.

* Pith paper *

Pith paper is made from the spongy pith of the branches of a small tree Tetrapanax papyriferum which grows in Taiwan. In fact the pith paper has nothing to do with paper as we know it in our modern use. Pith paper has been used in China for several centuries as a base for water color paintings. Nowadays the pith paper yarn is used for making surgical outfits, toys and artificial flowers and occasionally as a base for paintings. The yarn from pith paper is a very strong and durable, resistant to time and wear. It is also very absorbent and is very much suitable for warm climates.

* Ramie *

Ramie is a flowering plant of the nettle family and is known as “China grass”. It comes from East Asia and has been used in China for over 5 centuries as a textile fiber, long before cotton has been introduced into the Far East. Ramie fibers are naturally white and do not need bleaching. Ramie is a lot more absorbent than cotton and textiles containing ramie yarn are very much suitable for warm and humid weather. Ramie yarn is resistant to bacteria and mildew. It has natural stain resisting ability which makes the removal of stains and dirt from ramie easier than from cotton. On top of that ramie yarn is strong with lustrous silky appearance.
