* - these wraps have minor weaving flaws which do not influence the safety and look of the wrap
Back to basics! Simple, "grab and go", throw into the washing machine" blend in bold colors. The wrap requires a breaking in period, but it should not be difficult because you can use the wrap in any situation and there is no need to watch out for delicate materials. Occasional nubs and slubs are natural to this linen yarn. Great for most ages and most experience levels.

This is an ultimate cush, softness and support. Already soft and floppy from the bag, the wrap will break in easily. Baby yak gets amazinly soft just after one wash. This is a wooly heaven for cold and cozy winter days with a touch of linen to provide extra strength and support. The wrap is suitable for all experience levels and all ages. Genesis Gyfu
Silk, Weave: Triweave, GSM: 300 - 320 g/m², Pattern: Genesis, warp: 44% black Egyptian cotton weft: 20% bluejay linen, 18% natural baby camel, 18% natural tussah silk 300 gr/m2, triweave
Genesis Gyfu has a medium weight, but right from the bag it might feel a bit voluminous. The first wash and a medium breaking in period will tame it and you will have a cushy, floppy but very strong and supportive wrap. It is definitely suitable for bigger babies and toddlers, not very suitable for the newborns. I would recommend it to wrappers experienced in handling heavier wraps..

Genesis Murasaki
Silk, Weave: Plain, GSM: 280 - 300 g/m², Pattern: Genesis, 46% purple combed Egyptian cotton, 27% natural hemp, 27% natural mulberry silk, 285 gr/m2
Genesis Murasaki is woven on the purple combed Egyptian cotton warp with natural hemp and mulberry silk yarn for the weft. It will take a little effort to break in the hemp yarn. However, afterwards you will be rewarded with a solid, strong, supportive, but floppy and easy going wrap. This wrap is great for heavier babies and toddlers. Once broken in, it is suitable for the newborns as well. I would recommend this wrap to wrappers experienced in handling wraps with hemp or linen blends. The hemp yarn in this wrap is naturally slubby. The wrap has mostly small nubs and slubs, and occasionally biger ones. Some of them will come off naturally during the use, other ones will stay.

Genesis Excalibur
Linen
Silk, Weave: Plain, GSM: 300 - 320 g/m², Pattern: Genesis, warp: 46% ecru Egyptian cotton weft: 16% dark navy cashmere, 16% dark navy mulberry silk, 22% white linen, 315 gr/m2
* this wrap has been prewashed and gently tested
Genesis Excalibur is a heavy weight wrap, but as the most Solnce wraps woven in the triweave technique it does not feel heavy on the body once wrapped. It will become very soft and floppy after just one wash and after a short breaking in period it will be a very cushy, airy, gentle on your shoulders, yet very supportive wrap. It is suitable for all ages and all experience levels.
*The dark navy cashmere/mulberry silk blended yarn looks almost black.

Genesis Khaleesi
Wool, Weave: Plain, GSM: 320 - 340 g/m², Pattern: Genesis, Warp: 43% ecru Egyptian cotton. Weft: 19% azure blue merino, 18% bluejay hemp, 20% white linen, 320 gr/m2
size 6* - this wrap has a light cosmetic imperfection
Khaleesi is a strong woman and so is the wrap. It is woven in the 3weave technique. Hemp and linen yarns make it very supportive, while merino yarn adds extra cush. The wrap requires a moderate breaking in period. It is airy and floppy with good grip, which makes it a great toddler wrap. Once broken in it is suitable for newborns as well. The wrap may have occasional nubs and slubs, which are normal for hemp and linen yarns.

Genesis Dee
Linen, Weave: Plain, GSM: 260 - 280 g/m², Pattern: Genesis, 50% ecru Egyptian cotton, 50% cornflower blue natural bamboo (bamboo linen), 265 gr/m2
size 2 long - 140€, size 3 - 155€, size 3 long - 165€, size 4 - 180€, size 5 - 205€, size 6 - 230€, size 7 - 255€
This wrap has natural bamboo yarn in the weft, also called bamboo linen, which should not be confused with the bamboo viscose. This is a medium-weight wrap, suitable for all experience levels. The bamboo yarn in the wrap has a behavior similar to linen, including very occasional nubs and slubs, but needs a shorter breaking in period and gets much softer. The wrap has a luxurious shimmer under the sun, feels smooth in hand, but is grippy and stays in place once wrapped.
After a proper wash and a steam ironing the wrap becomes moldable, floppy and soft. It is gentle for your shoulders and cushy. The wrap is great to use for babies and toddlers.
* The River Dee is a river in Aberdeenshire, Scotland.
* There are two ways of processing the bamboo plant to create yarn. The first is a mechanical process, creating what is informally called bamboo linen, and the second, more popular approach, is the chemical process used for producing rayon or viscose fabric.
Mechanically produced bamboo - natural bamboo (bamboo linen)
Mechanically produced bamboo yarn requires no chemicals, pesticides or fungicides. Using a process similar to the one that produces linen from flax, bamboo fibers are raked and combed into long strands. The fibers are then drawn out and spun into a yarn that is silky and smooth to the touch.
There is very little natural bamboo on the market and the yarn is hard to find, becuse the production process is more labor intensive and costly.
Chemically processed bamboo
The method for producing bamboo viscose yarn requires a series of steps similar to those used for other rayon yarns. The process uses chemical solvents to dissolve the bamboo cellulose into a viscose solution.
Hydrogen peroxide is added as a stabilizer and the solution is forced through spinnerets into a hardening bath which causes thin streams of viscose bamboo solution to harden into bamboo cellulose fiber threads.
The hardening bath is usually a solution of water and methanol, ethanol or a similar alcohol. The regenerated bamboo fiber threads can then be spun into bamboo yarn for weaving into fabric.
