The wrap is moderately soft from the bag and will get much softer after breaking in. The hemp yarn in the weft gives it enought support to make it perfectly suitable for bigger babies and toddlers. The silk yarn adds extra lush and softness. The wrap is suitable for all ages and all experience levels.

Very intimidating from the first sight! Only the brave will have a chance. But will be rewarded. The wrap is not soft from the bag, but the first wash will make a big difference. Requires some breaking in and you might want to use the steam iron a couple of times. The wrap has an excellent support and is perfect for toddlers. Once broken in, it will be suitable for the smaller babies. It's a great all around wrap. No need to worry about catching some dirt on it as it's machine washable. There is no need to dry it flat and is just very easy in use and care.

Onemata (or - neh - mah - tah) originates from the Maori language and means "fertile soil'. Whenua Onemata is a heavy weight wrap, which requires breaking in period. The wrap feels quite overwhelming right from the bag, but the first handwash will tame it significantly. It's heavy, but airy and cushy; has excellent support and is gentle for your shoulders. The wrap is not suitable for newborns, but is great for older babies and toddlers. I would recommend this wrap to wrappers experienced in handling heavy wraps.
