Once broken in, it will be perfectly suitable for the newborns.

The first wash and a medium breaking in period will tame it and you will have a cushy, floppy but very strong and supportive wrap. It is definitely suitable for bigger babies and toddlers, not very suitable for the newborns. I would recommend it to wrappers experienced in handling heavier wraps..
