The wrap has a gentle grip and is cool to the touch, easy to handle, is light and gentle on the shoulders - a perfect companion for the upcoming warm temperatures. A thin linen yarn adds extra support and will soften quickly. Ramie is a strong, pland based yarn with silky texture and tender shine. Easy in care and use, suitable for all ages.
Ramie is a flowering plant of the nettle family and is known as “China grass”. It comes from East Asia and has been used in China for over 5 centuries as a textile fiber, long before cotton has been introduced into the Far East. Ramie fibers are naturally white and do not need bleaching. Ramie is a lot more absorbent than cotton and textiles containing ramie yarn are very much suitable for warm and humid weather. Ramie yarn is resistant to bacteria and mildew. It has natural stain resisting ability which makes the removal of stains and dirt from ramie easier than from cotton. Based on Silvermist, Petrichor is a strong, but light-in-hand wrap. It requires a moderate breaking in period and once full broken in, it will be suitable for all ages and all experience levels. The wrap is easy in care and use. It will be your ideal outdoor companion during this season!

NB: wraps with linen or hemp might have a slight crease after the first wash which will become less once the wrap fully breaks in. It's neither a flaw nor a safety issue. It's a natural behavior for linen and hemp yarns and gives your wraps an authentic look. To avoid permanent crease, please use a washing program with maximum of 800 rmp on your washing machine.
